Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor who has been a part of the SSC's board since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the newly formed theater company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. While Artistic Director of SSC she was also the costume and set designer for the production, as well as writer/music director as well as a text coach. While she would usually be the leader of her ensembles, her first directing role was as part of SSC King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Her other work includes a series of game show appearances. Her two sisters and daughter were born with her father, a scientist Richard F. Post, as well as poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. She attended Las Lomas High School where she played cheerleading. The school she attended was Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. On a personal note Post was earlier married with Stephen Knox. Since 1982 she has been married to actor cum writer Michael A. Ross with who she has two daughters. An amazing actress, and a perfect wife and mother. Post is an inspiration for many who work in Hollywood.
